DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
and negotiations with the police
Domestic Violence is not only physical abuse. Any abusive behaviour such as emotional, economical or controlling behaviour can be classified as domestic violence.
To get a domestic violence order the court must be satisfied that it is necessary or desirable to make such an order.
We can apply to the court on your behalf for a domestic violence order, oppose an application for a domestic violence order or act on your behalf when a domestic violence order is allegedly breached.
Breaches of domestic violence orders are serious.
It is not uncommon that a person is imprisoned for a breach of a domestic violence order.
