How we can help

Most family law matters in Queensland are dealt with in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. The court expects parties to make a genuine effort to resolve parenting and property issues before filing, and we help you do that through negotiation and mediation first, with court proceedings where agreement is not possible.

Where you and your former partner have reached agreement, we can draft consent orders or a binding financial agreement so the arrangement is enforceable and the property transfer attracts the stamp duty exemption that applies to orders and agreements under the Family Law Act.
